Second born, a daughter.
Born to a maker of dreams and a mother of quiet, steady grace.
In the shadow of ancient ways, carrying the forbidden flame of the fire horse - a wild spark held in a quiet world.
A small township bound by unyielding tradition, set against the brutal surge of industrial dawn.
Absorbing raw nature and human breath into her soul, grounded in this world, yet struggling to catch the tide of swift change.
From girlhood classrooms to political studies at university, I learned the world through iron rules and a hardening city.
Chasing solace on two wheels along the Han River as concrete buried the earth.
Seeking wider horizons, I moved through friends, suitors, and admired beauty, yet remained a quiet stranger, an island in the crowd.
Realizing books held no answers for her restless search, she turned to fashion - a mirror of a people’s quiet wishes.
Assisting in the birth of borrowed designs and high-street dreams, she found a strange window into the human soul,
decoding what people hunger for, one garment at a time.
Leaving the old world behind to discover her own reflection in the heart of a shimmering, restless metropolis.
A feast of early internet, bold ideas, and unfiltered human life, I drank in every new tide of thought and culture.
Eager, untethered, and alive in a season of endless possibility.
A brave new world where skill outshone background, opening digital gates into the architecture of a changing planet.
Designing webs, building servers, and stepping into a gleaming life.
Living high in the urban current, wrapped in cosmopolitan ease.
But sensing the fragile edge of a digital storm, her eyes turned toward the next chapter.
Crossing the ocean to a land wary of the digital horizon, where ancient bureaucracy held firm against the fast modern rush.
Discovering deep roots of fairness and quiet, unyielding principles.
Danced through midnight streets with beautiful, kindred souls, while her eyes kept searching for the next horizon.
Stepping into the heat of event catering by chance, I found my hands awakening to a whole new world.
The screen gave way to the kitchen, bringing a fresh, grounding passion.
Without abandoning the digital realm, two worlds aligned - balancing precision of mind with the tangible magic of food.
Gathering skills across traditions - Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Western - turning passion into rigorous, certified mastery.
The familiar hearth brought restoration to both body and spirit.
Amidst tastes of home, I found my core philosophy: that what feeds us at the table is the very anchor of human society.
Back in Swiss lands, turning qualifications into real-world craft through restaurant lines, private caterings, and spontaneous gatherings.
In the mountains of Engadine, I fed a creative realm, pouring boundless spirit into daily East-meets-West creations.
An exhilarating peak of dedication and fuel - halted only by the sacred duty of a daughter’s farewell.
Grief softened the burning rush into a search for deeper truth.
Shifting away from decorative trends toward simple, grounding staples.
Here, step by step, my table became a sanctuary - guiding myself and others back to the core of what it means to live.
Crossing continents to stay sharp and build the foundation for my own restaurant - balancing Swiss precision with raw, wild kitchens in Nepal.
Beyond the stove, turning thread into a tool for empowerment and structure.
Solitude became a sanctuary of purpose: a fertile soil to design the blueprint for my own upcoming home and business.

Kimchi and processed food production
For decades, my path as a person was much like a hermit’s - a solitary, nomadic journey spanning ten years in New York, ten years in Europe, and over a decade in Nepal. For a long time, I traveled and cooked for my loved ones without a defined destination, learning my skills by working in the world and understanding life by simply being in it.
Born and raised in South Korea during the rapid industrialization of the 1970s and 80s, my imagination was shaped by translated European literature, while my daily life was grounded in the strict cultural rules of Korean traditions, such as ancestor-worship ceremonies, Jesa (제사). During these times, our extended family would gather to prepare, serve, and share traditional foods, Jesatbap (제삿밥). Whether I was reading the Bible or watching Star Trek as a teenager, I constantly found common threads connecting different times and places. I realized early on that the most essential human ceremonies - our beginnings and our endings - are always anchored by food.
Before putting on an apron, I spent 15 years working in digital design and IT. To me, cooking is exactly like coding. You search for the raw bits and bytes of ingredients, analyze their functions and attributes, and compose the elements to execute the command for the final serving. You repeat this process, iterating and refining, to build a vast database of good food.
The profound global shifts of the past few years fundamentally changed how I view the meaning of "humanity" on this planet. The goal of our civilization is to celebrate life on common ground, recognizing every distinct element for its uniqueness. Because of this, the process of cooking cannot be standardized - it must constantly evolve alongside us.
Having recently completed my foundational work establishing organic fermentation and agricultural projects in Nepal, I am now stepping out of my hermit-style kitchen. I am ready to connect more directly with the world. I want to meet different cooks, share our respective "databases" of traditions, and exchange the intelligence of good food and beautiful ceremonies.
This journal is a living record of that next chapter. It is a space to collect new data from different environments, document concept-driven kitchen takeovers, and explore collaborative dining rituals across borders.
